Your job
As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will be working in a fast pace, challenging, and rewarding environment. Responsible for supporting operations with aspects of quality; training, inspection, containment, auditing, special projects. Teamwork, technical knowledge, and attention to detail are key for someone looking to succeed in this role. The person in this role will work closely with Quality Engineers, Process Engineers, & operations personnel. A self-driven person with integrity and a thirst for knowledge will be very successful in this role.
- (3 positions) 2nd Shift: Monday - Friday: 2:30pm-11:00pm PLUS a $1.75 shift differential
- (2 positions) 3rd Shift: Sunday - Friday: 10:30pm-7:00am PLUS a $2.25 shift differential
Duties and responsibilities
- Auditing processes and products to ensure conformance to customer requirements and internal procedures
- Training personnel on inspection methods, procedures, and containment of nonconforming product
- Support special projects to reduce quality defect & improve efficiency
Requirements
- Attention to detail, and ability to work on complex problems
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to interpret engineering prints, procedures, and ensure compliance
Preferred qualifications
- Previous QA or QC experience is a plus
- Strong technical aptitude and attention to detail
- Associate Degree or American Society for Quality Certifications are a plus
- Experience auditing or inspecting
