The Senior Supplier Quality Engineer collaborates with global teams to qualify suppliers and drive quality improvements for suppliers. This position will be located on-site at the new Molex Facility in Siemianowice Śląskie, Poland.

The Molex Global Supplier Quality team collaborates with Procurement, Quality, and New Product Development teams globally to create the maximum long-term value by driving successful supplier launches, direct material optimization and supplier operational excellence with best-in-class quality and delivery performance.
What You Will Do
- Drive supplier quality improvements to assure conformance to Molex and Customer requirements
- Guide / coach suppliers to achieve zero defects, Quality Notification improvement, and decrease in Cost of Poor Quality
- Analyze and report supplier performance information such as Quality Notification data, defect type-analysis and required action plans
- Collaborate with New Product Development teams, manufacturing engineering, and Quality Engineers on new supplier qualifications, product and/or process development with suppliers in Europe
- Conduct Quality Management System audits, process audits, and FMEA reviews. Monitor and review supplier’s corrective action plans
- Support Molex Plant Supplier Quality on major quality containment
- Collaborate with Product Development Teams and advance quality planning to assure flawless launch and supplier quality assurance
- Utilizes SAP and other pertinent data sources to analyze and drive systemic improvement throughout supply chain
- Actively involved in the effective implementation of the QMS for the Procurement and Supplier Quality organization
- Provide support to other Supplier Quality functions as required and/or assigned by team leadership
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Bachelor’s Degrees in an Engineering / Science discipline
- Proven experience including strong process knowledge in Quality, Manufacturing Engineering and/or Procurement.
- Practical experience in the execution of quality system and process audits
- Certified ISO 9001 Lead Auditor
- Certified IATF 16949 Lead Auditor or willingness to obtain certification within 90 days.
- Certified VDA 6.3 Process Auditor or willingness to obtain certification within 90 days.
- Demonstrated knowledge of statistical methods and problem-solving tools (8D, RCCA, Fishbone, etc.)
- Familiar with quality tools, such as FMEA, SPC, etc.
- Solid experience as a Quality Engineer in automotive, medical (ISO 13485) or other regulated industries
- Practical experience in process improvement, problem solving and project management
- Familiar with Manufacturing Quality Management
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Must be bilingual in Polish and English. Demonstrated fluency in English (oral and written)
- Ability to travel approximately 30% - 50%.
What Will Put You Ahead
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent
- Additional language skills (i.e. German) are a plus
- Knowledge of multiple commodities including Metals, Resins, Plastic Injection Molding, Stampings, Die Castings, PCB/PCBAs and others Electronic Components
- Certified ISO 13485 Auditor for medical products
