Koch Industries is searching for an HR Co-Op to help support the KBX organization in Green Bay, WI! The HR Co-Op will partner closely with KBX HR team to support the business’s data requests, change management projects, new hire orientation, reporting & analytics needs, and timekeeping management. What You Will Do
The successful candidate will have the ability to work 15-20 hours per week from Fall 2023 through May 2024 in Green Bay, WI, with potential of extension into Summer 2024. There will be opportunities for occasional remote work.
This role will partner with the 3 members of the KBX HR team to support 750+ US and global-based employees on the following:
- HR Data Management: Partner with business supervisors to ensure employee information is updated correctly in Koch’s Human Capital Management (HCM) software. Partner with the Koch Recruiting team to make necessary adjustments to position information.
- Change Management Projects: Assist with compiling information needed for various change management projects—including company acquisitions, large group employee transfers, and business reorganizations. Partner with Business HR, HR Support, and project teams to provide the necessary information from project inception to execution.
- New Hire Orientation & I9 Completion: Support the successful onboarding of new employees by leading new hire orientation, facility tours, and I9 completion.
- Reporting & Analytics: Use HR dashboards and reports to pull and format data that provides valuable insights on compensation, turnover, reporting structures, and more.
- Timekeeping Management: Review hourly employee timecards for completion, ensuring all are signed off correctly before the end of payroll periods. As needed, run reports for insights on hours worked, PTO balances, and overtime usage.
- Ad Hoc Projects: As business needs arise, gain exposure to and assist with various ad hoc HR and talent-related requests.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Enrolled in a degree or alternative program (e.g. 4-year college program, 2-year technical college program, certificate program, upskilling program, etc.)
- Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship
