What You Will Do
1. Drive sales activities to expand Molex focused products to support profitable growth within assigned districts of automotive OEMs and Tiers.
2. Build pipelines with strategic approach and align with business units.
3. Collaborate with other sales function and other business unit to expand the business pipelines.
4. Create the right environment and develop people to become contribution motivated mindset.
5. Build the relationship/connection with senior management at OEM.
6. Support all activities to improve profitability on on-going projects.
7. Monitor and maintain current business and take actions as necessary.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
l 3 to 5 successful years of sales experience
l People management experience 3 – 5 years
l Knowledge of automotive industry of OEM and Tier1
l Sales skills that demonstrate the ability to successfully negotiate and close a case.
l New business development success
l Well-developed interpersonal skills that demonstrate the ability to build rapport with external contacts and give guidance and advice to direct reports.
l Self-starter mindset, independent thinker and team leading mentality
l Native-level Japanese language capabilities and high-business English language capabilities
What Will Put You Ahead
l In depth understanding of automotive industry, supply chain, value chain.
l Experience working at a domestic automotive supplier
l Proven problem solving capabilities
l Knowledge of Tier 1 customer base.
l Previous automotive business experience through OEM or Tier1 with automotive electronics
l Business experiences for connectors, cables and Electric components
